• Substitute for the HSE Superintendent or HSE Manager on occasions as required.
• To ensure that all activities are in line with the company's requirements, monitor and regulate any HSE issues about the employees, contractors, and visitors.
• To ensure that all operations are carried out by the HSE Management Plan & Procedure, the Environmental Procedure, the Potential Risk Mitigation Plan, the HSE Audit Plan/Procedure, and any other HSE-related documents.
• Participate in the HSE Risk Assessment and organize pertinent internal meetings and workshops to address all findings.
• Monitor and update the HSE action tracking register and ensure all mitigation plans are strictly adhered to throughout the operation execution.
• Enforce and keep an eye on actions to make sure they adhere to HSE standards.
• Participate in HSE committee meetings to deliver HSE performance and give direction to the team on HSE matters.
• Execution of safety walks on own responsibility by HSE guidelines and involvement in walk-throughs with the management team and contractors.
• Assists with the investigation of every incident that happens at work, reviews the incident investigation reports, and ensures that all delegated tasks are completed.
• Track and provide records on HSE performance and routinely report to HSE management.
• Assist HSE staff in creating worksite HSE initiatives and best practices.
• Develop and coordinate training for the HSE team and other divisions on topics relating to HSE.
• Plan and schedule the HSE team's planned inspections and as hygiene inspections and follow up on all results until completion.

EHS Consultant - General Electric (GE)

Project: Summit Meghnaghat II Combined cycle power plant, Bangladesh.

• Responsible for implementation of the permit to work system (PTW) at work locations and ensuring compliance.
• Reports to the Site EHS Snr manager. Ensures strict implementation of PTW rules at work locations.
• Audits the PTW Procedure and ensure compliance on a daily basis.
• Provide support to the Site EHS Manager in the implementation and maintenance of the Site EHS Management System.
• Carry out continuous inspections of the site areas (minimum 80 % of the time in the field), treat and report any discrepancy.
• Act immediately on unsafe acts and conditions observed at site. 
• Ensure employees are provided with information, instruction and training to follow safe methods of work.
• Assist the Site EHS Manager in coordinating and controlling activities with respect to EHS, especially wherever interfaces between subcontractors are identified.
• Assist the Site EHS Manager in ensuring compliance of site activities with the Project Specific EHS Plan, EHS Directives, guidelines and work instructions.
• Provide support and advice to site personnel so as to prevent injury to personnel, damage to plant and equipment, fire.
• Advise the site personnel on EHS requirements applicable to the site activities.
• Coordinate activities with the Site EHS Manager, ensuring that EHS requirements are implemented.

Project: Rooppur Nuclear Power plant, Bangladesh.

• Develop Safety Standard and implementation of Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Management System at the Nuclear power plant.
• Comply and maintain regulations
• Coordinate with Investigators for root cause analysis and for preventive recommendation
• Supports the Top Management in the HSE Policy and Guidelines issue.
• Design Safety training programs for employees for educations purposes.
• Conduct Safety Meetings daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Coordinate activities with the Site EHS Manager, ensuring that EHS requirements are implemented.

HSE Engineer - Sembcorp Marine Integrated Yard (SMIY) Pte. Ltd, Singapore

• Establish, implement, and maintain Workplace Safety & Health Management system of the Projects and shipyard.
• Develop and implement Risk Management system of Projects and ensure that potential risks are being identified and effective control measures being implemented throughout the Projects.
• Identify potential hazards related to machinery, plant, equipment, appliance or process and develop control measures to mitigate the risks
• Perform the role of secretary in Vessel Safety Coordination Committee (VSCC) meeting and ensure no incompatible work is carried out
• Prepare monthly project HSE statistics, taskforce reports, meeting minutes, incident reports, drill reports and issue HSE Incident and Enforcement Alert
• Conduct audit of project activities to ensure compliance with local legislations, company and client requirements
• Perform the role of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Secretary for Piping and Outfitting, HVAC & Hydraulic Department trade committee

• Ensure that safety and health of the all-stake holders comply with HSE rules and regulation by Ministry of Manpower (MOM), and is in accordance with safe work procedure.
• Monitor all hot work activities and hazardous work by ensuring that permits are applied, approved and displayed at worksites.
• Prepare taskforce reports, meeting minutes, incident reports, drill reports and issue HSE Incident and Enforcement Alert.
• Ensure that chemical/hazardous substances shall be handled, stored and disposed according to Chemicals/Hazardous Substances Control Policy to prevent or reduce environmental impact.
• Assist HSE Manager for all emergencies and perform rescue operations required for the operational areas and workshops when called upon.
• Implement safe handling and labeling of hazardous substances as per Globally Harmonized System (GHS).
• Work closely with the project management and Client HSE Team to achieve the project HSE objectives.
• Investigate incidents, analyze root causes and recommend corrective action plans.

• Exercise general supervision of the observance of the WSH Act and its related legislations and to promote working Safety in Projects.
• Ensure risk assessment are established and communicated to the relevant workers or contractors before carrying out the work.
• Prepare daily PPE, Tools, Risk assessment and HSE project rating inspection report.
• Conduct daily tool box and Hazardous work coordination meeting.
• Evaluate and endorse the all Permit– to- Work system implemented by the company.
